SolArt is a colorful, interactive, simple and fun way to learn about the layers of the Sun using the paper marbling paint method.

The SolArt activity is accompanied by these 6″x9″ cards that include descriptions of the Sun’s layers on the front, and a QR code to a YouTube Short that describes the activity on the back. If you’d like to print your own cards, you may download the front and back images.

SolArt is great for classroom facilitation! Each student’s creation is unique, it only takes 5 minutes to make, and students love being creative with different colors and designs 🌈
