The MUSE Outreach program is dedicated to making MUSE Science accessible to everyone!
Headquartered at the SETI Institute in Mountain View, CA, MUSE Outreach is linked with local and nationwide partners:
Chabot Space & Science Center
runs a STEM workforce develoment program called the Galaxy Explorers, who are Oakland-based high schoolers working hard to create MUSE-ified activities and content for the museum. Want more info on Chabot? Click here!
California Academy of Sciences (CAS)
curates MUSE-based science visualizations and video content to spread the good news of MUSE in SF and beyond. Some of these visualizations have been featured in-house on their 75-foot dome at Morrison Planetarium! Be on the lookout for new content from CAS soon!
Boys & Girls Clubs of the Peninsula (BGCP)
partner with MUSE Outreach to create a paid high school internship program, first hosted in East Palo Alto, CA and expanding to San Leandro, CA in autumn 2026. Check out our internship page to see the fantastic products our interns created!
Montana Space Grant Consortium (MSGC)
facilitates partnerships between MUSE Outreach and community colleges in Montana. MSGC is based at Montana State University, a MUSE Science partner.
Planetary Science Institute (PSI)
manages the MUSE Outreach evaluation team and ensures that we’re appropriately reporting on the valuable public services we provide!
